Timing is the whole game, and it is on the record.
A fund that is happy with its administrator will not move this year whatever you send it. The ones worth your effort are the ones already changing, and almost nobody knows which those are.
Registered funds state every year which providers they hired and which they let go. Private funds name theirs on Form ADV. We read that movement in your lane and time the approach to it.
What you get
Four things, held across the engagement.
- 01
The Funds Worth Your Time
The funds in your lane that are changing provider now, or launching with none, named from their own filings.
- 02
The Mandate Movement
Registered funds state every year which providers they hired and let go, and private funds name theirs on Form ADV. We read the movement in your lane and time the approach to it.
- 03
The Introduction, Carried
Where the relationship is ours, we carry the introduction ourselves. Where it is not, we open it in your name.
- 04
A Report Each Week
The funds approached, the replies and the meetings, counted each week. The relationships are yours at the end of it.

How it runs
We map the funds in your lane, time the approach to the movement in it, carry the introduction ourselves where the relationship is ours, and report each week until the mandate is won.
- 01
We map
Most lists of funds are lists of logos. We map the funds in your lane against the role you actually fill, from the filings that name who does that job today. You get a universe you can defend, with the incumbent named wherever one is on record.
- 02
We time
The right firm in the wrong month is a no. We read the provider movement in your lane as it is filed, and we watch the events that move it: a fund closed, a person joined, a role changed. The approach is timed to that rather than to a calendar.
- 03
We carry
The first message has to be about them. Where the relationship is ours, we carry the introduction ourselves. Where it is not, we open it in your name with the read attached, so the first message is already about them.
- 04
We report
Winning the mandate takes more than one good meeting. Each week you see the funds approached, the replies and the meetings, with the counts. We stay on it until the mandate is won, and you hold the relationships at the end of it.

What the Desk reads for you
Three reads the Desk runs on your lane, from the filings the funds make themselves.
- 01
The Mandate Movement
Which funds named a new provider in your role this year, and which let one go, read from the filings they make themselves.
- 02
The Launch Feed
The funds registering for the first time, where no incumbent exists in your role yet.
- 03
The Counterparty Read
What the Desk has read on a fund before you walk in: who it uses, what it has filed, and who has moved.
How this one is priced
An engagement here is scoped to the lanes you sell into and priced to it. Before it starts we agree the number and how it is paid. Where a filing does not say something, we say so: no filing anywhere states a contract term, so we never tell you a provider is out of contract.

Start with the lane.
Tell us what you provide and who you sell it to. We will say what the filings can see in your lane, and what they cannot.
